Mukt is an alternative-rock band based in Ahmedabad Gujarat since 2018 reimagining classic poetry into contemporary music. Their compositions bring together multiple genres to create a unique sound.

We are driven by our passion for both - music and literature; finding ourselves compelled to recreate literary treasures in a musical and hence contemporary form. Our journey is twofold - delving inward to explore legendary thinkers while manifesting these discoveries into more accessible forms to modern audiences. 

Our creations are diverse - drawing from a 

multitude of languages and cultural influences while spanning a wide array of literary genres. In our music we embrace the foundational elements of Rock while infusing it with the rich textures of ethnic folk and fusion sounds.
