Mugwort + Soundbath Dream Workshop
for an evening of deep rest, inner reflection and conscious dreaming.
About this Event
Dreams are said to be a window to our subconscious, revealing buried thoughts, fears or emotions. Dreaming is also how the psyche metabolises life. How the nervous system reorganises, releases, rehearses and restores. We gather in summer, when natures reaches peak expansion, growth and light, an energy that is reflected in the full phase of the moon. This sense of heightened illumination allows what may be stirring beneath the surface to gently amplify and come to light.
This is your invitation to reconnect with intuition, imagination and wisdom, and explore your dreams on a deeper level.
Gather at our cosy garden sanctuary under a summer full moon for an evening of deep rest, inner reflection and conscious dreaming.
Our gathering begins with a grounding mugwort tea ceremony, a plant revered for thousands of years as a dream ally, believed to support vivid dreams, intuition, and spiritual visioning. Native to the United Kingdom, mugwort can help calm the nervous system, facilitating deep rest, digestion and enhanced dream recall. Our tea ceremony is a chance to awaken the senses and set intentions as we explore both the spiritual and scientific qualities of mugwort.
From here, we journey through gentle breath practice to quiet the thinking mind and invite calm, receptive attention.
Next, yoga nidra (a guided body scan) allows you to drift into the easeful, present space between wakefulness and sleep, while grounding the body and subtly stirring the imagination.
As your journey deepens, you will be guided through a visualisation meditation to set the stage for insightful imagery and conscious dreaming to surface. You will then receive an immersive, soothing crystal bowl soundscape as a vessel to carry you into deep relaxation as you explore and dream with wild abandon.
Finally, you will be invited to journal on your reflections and recollections of your experience, before we close with a short. integrating meditation to ground and bring you round.
This is for anyone ready to pause, listen, and reconnect with the natural rhythms of body and mind. No prior experience is needed. Simply come with curiosity and an open heart.
