Mudras Workshop with Joseph

An Interactive Workshop with Joseph Amormino

What if a simple shift in the way you hold your hands could become a tool for greater presence, balance, and well-being?

Join Joseph Amormino for a fun, interactive exploration of mudras—ancient hand gestures used for centuries in yoga, meditation, and spiritual traditions as a way of supporting physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Together, we’ll learn, practice, and experience a variety of mudras firsthand, exploring how these surprisingly simple practices can be incorporated into meditation, mindfulness, stress reduction, and everyday life.

Joseph brings his signature warmth, humor, and down-to-earth teaching style, making ancient spiritual practices feel approachable, practical, and relevant to modern life. Whether you’re a longtime meditator or someone who has never heard the word mudra before, you’ll leave with simple practices you can actually use.

During the workshop, we’ll explore:

• What mudras are and where they come from
• The connection between the hands, body, mind, and nervous system
• Traditional health and spiritual benefits associated with different mudras
• Mudras for grounding, focus, relaxation, energy, and meditation
• How to build these practices into your daily life
• Plenty of opportunities to practice, ask questions, and probably laugh along the way

No previous experience with yoga, meditation, or mudras is necessary. Just bring yourself and an open mind.

Note: This workshop will begin following a short break after Aldea's 10:45-11:45am Sunday gathering.
