Mudita Union Concert

World Music / Contemporary Classical: This cross-cultural collaborative concert will feature musicians from 4 different cultures as they bring together their unique artistic roots to perform traditional music and collaborate in exploring a blending of worlds through group improvisation. Tanuja Krishna, an Indian classical singer and dancer; Marcinko Orozco, an American electronic artist and keyboardist; Eric Rokni, a Persian Santur player and cellist; and Ryo Hasegawa, a Japanese Shakuhachi player will work together to portray the transformative story of cultural union through this quasi-improv style performance.
