MUD Women-Led Introduction to Carpentry Workshop

Have you always wanted to feel empowered when using saws, drills, brad nailers, and more? Then the Women-Led Introduction Carpentry Workshop is for you!

Over this two-day course designed for beginners, you'll gain an overview of a variety of carpentry tools and the proper methods to safely use them. You'll have an opportunity on day 2 to put these new skills to work as you build your own project with the guidance of MUD Staff and Volunteers!  Join MUD on both Saturday and Sunday from 11 am-4 pm and get ready to leave empowered, knowing you are capable of creating your own projects for years to come!

This workshop is designed to be welcoming and inclusive to all individuals, regardless of previous knowledge, skills, or gender identity.

Participants should come prepared with materials and a small carpentry project in mind. We will email you some project ideas in advance and are available to answer any questions you have. If you're feeling unsure on how to purchase your materials, your instructor, Kathleen, will be in contact two weeks in advance to answer any questions.
