Muckross House, Kenmare and Black Valley

64 Km , 800m elevation
Saturday’s road will start at Muckross House at 9:30 am.
To avoid going through Killarney it is possible to take the Lough Guitane, please note that this is a narrow country road.
Park in Muckross car park where there is the lovely Muckross garden Restaurant, an ideal spot for a bite of breakfast before we set off.
Starting in the grounds Muckross house, we head onto the main road turning right and climb towards Molls Gap /Avoca Cafe, via Ladies view. From the Gap we will descend down to Kenmare for a light lunch.
After lunch will claim back up to Molls gap and descend to the Black Valley, possibly stopping for a tea at Lord Brandon’s (cash only) a little bit of light gravel will take us back onto the main road to take us back to Muckross house.
