Mucho Mistrust is a dynamic Blondie tribute band dedicated to capturing the music, energy and unmistakable style of one of the most influential bands of the late 1970s and 1980s.
Formed in 2025 by a group of musicians with a shared passion for Blondie, the band has one mission: to faithfully recreate the sound, excitement and atmosphere that made Blondie a worldwide phenomenon.
Leading the band are vocalists Jeanette and Andrea, whose combined harmonies recreate Debbie Harry's signature layered vocal style without relying on backing tracks. Their performances capture the attitude, emotion and power that define classics such as Heart of Glass, Atomic, One Way or Another and Call Me, bringing these timeless songs to life with authenticity and energy.
Andrea also provides the distinctive synthesiser sounds that were such an important part of Blondie's unique blend of rock, pop, disco, reggae and new wave. Using carefully programmed keyboard sounds inspired by the original recordings, she recreates the rich electronic textures that fans instantly recognise.
Behind the kit, veteran drummer Mark Manning channels the explosive style of the legendary Clem Burke, delivering the driving rhythms, precision and excitement that powered Blondie's biggest hits. Bassist Julie Ann provides the solid foundation with melodic bass lines, superb tone and backing vocals that add further depth to the band's live sound.
Completing the line up are multi-instrumentalist George Will and guitarist Michael Lewis. George's versatility on keyboards and guitar helps recreate Blondie's layered arrangements, while Michael combines vintage guitars, authentic amplifiers and classic 1980s effects to capture the signature guitar styles of Chris Stein and Frank Infante.
