Yoooo! The spirit of giving over the last couple of months has really inspired us and reminded us of our original mission: Feed people. Love people. Right where they are. And we’re going to keep doing just that.
My beautiful New Mexico family ran a restaurant called El Sombrero in Las Vegas, NM. Every Thanksgiving, they opened their doors and fed everyone who came, no questions asked. Earlier this year, after decades in business, they decided to close. We felt it was necessary to keep this tradition alive!
This Thanksgiving Day, from 12–3 PM, we’re opening our doors for a proper turkey dinner! We’ll be serving:
🍗 Smoked turkey
🥔 Mashed potatoes & gravy
🍞 Stuffing & rolls
🫛Green bean casserole
🌽 Corn
🍓 Cranberry sauce
🥧 And, of course, pie!
Here’s the best part: it’s a “pay what you can” meal. $25, $50, $100, $1… awesome! Need to save up? No worries, it’s free.99. This is possible thanks to our generous community and a special donation from Coach Matt Rhule, his wife Julie, and their amazing family.
So come eat, forget your worries for a bit, and let’s share a plate together!
Even better!! our friends at @madsensbowling are joining in! All their donated proceeds go to “We Can Do This,” a local charity helping feed kids on weekends.
