Workshops at MUCH Circus Festival
Aerial Silks Masterclass with Diana Salles
In this two hour masterclass, Diana Salles guides you in deepening your aerial practice through a specific focus on technicality. With her artistic and technical expertise, she helps participants connect with their work on a deeper level and gain insight into the fundamental mechanics of aerial silks.
The session is dedicated to the learn new skills, but also improving and developing flow during the process. We will explore the precision of various climbs and poses, finding the fluidity within the effort. A significant part of the practice will be spent on connecting tricks into fluid sequences and mastering the balance of handstands on silks.
Through exercises in rhythm, tempo, tension, and expression, you will discover new possibilities within your movement language. Diana provides tools to further develop your unique air body, which is the awareness of how your body moves and speaks while suspended.
Who is this masterclass for?
This two-hour masterclass is open to aerialists of all levels, but it is not intended as an introduction to the apparatus. To participate, you should be able to climb the silks independently and have mastered some basic poses and movements.

Spring is here and so is the third edition of MUCH Circus Festival with Hungarian, regional and international contemporary circus productions indoors and outdoors - produced as a collaboration of OneTwoMany Collective circus company and Trafo House of Contemporary Arts.
