In this workshop you will become familiar with the St. Paul branch of the Minnesota Tool Library and learn how to use the machines confidently & safely. No experience is necessary.
This is a great introduction to woodworking and a nice refresher if you’d like to re-familiarize yourself with the shop (especially in our new digs!) We will cover the safe setup & operation of the jointer, planer, table saw, miter saw, belt/spindle sanders, band saw, and drill press. The class size is small so there will be plenty of time for questions and to try each tool. Leave with the skills necessary to use the Tool library workshop safely and with confidence.
