Once again, we are proud to welcome back THE MICHIGAN THEATRE OF JACKSON'S THURSDAY NIGHT FILM SERIES. ADMISSION IS FREE TO ALL MOVIES ($65 VALUE) Every THURSDAY for 13 weeks the public will be treated to some of the finest films ever made. The doors to the auditorium will open at 6:30 pm. The box office will be open at 6:30 pm. The cost is $5 per film. Present your Michigan Theatre Membership Card and receive FREE ADMISSION.
ABOUT THE FILM: One of the most profitable horror movies ever made, this tale of an exorcism is based loosely on actual events. When young Regan (Linda Blair) starts acting odd -- levitating, speaking in tongues -- her worried mother (Ellen Burstyn) seeks medical help, only to hit a dead end. A local priest (Jason Miller), however, thinks the girl may be seized by the devil. The priest makes a request to perform an exorcism, and the church sends in an expert (Max von Sydow) to help with the difficult job.
