Get ready, Perth! We're back for the second year of our unique and thrilling Magic: The Gathering event. After the success of last year, we're excited to bring more spells and fun to the west!
Just like last year, this event is going to be absolutely FREE to enter with both cash prizes and door prizes (totalling over $1500) as well as a one day beer license so we can all enjoy some tasty beverages Gathering for Magic.
Last year we managed to get 58 players signed up and everyone had a great day. Hopefully we see even more players this year!

Banlist Update: Along with the current Peasant Pioneer banlist, we've added two of last year's most played cards: Monastery Swiftspear and Gifted Aetherborn.

Decklists:
Submit your decklist via Moxfield (moxfield.com) with the pricing option set to TCGplayer.
Email your decklist link and a screenshot of your mainboard + sideboard with visible pricing to [email protected].
Please also submit your deck on the melee.gg event as this will allow us to track the meta and give a thorough analysis of the event once it's all wrapped up!
Decklists are due by 11:59pm on Wednesday, November 27th.
Once submitted, your decklist is locked. If the value goes above $20 TCG market after submission, it won't affect legality. Ensure legality if it exceeds $20 before submission.
Illegal decklists submitted before the due date will receive a response for resubmission.
Printed decklists will be provided during the player meeting for review before each round and during sideboarding.
This will be an open decklist event. At the start of each round and during sideboarding you will hand your paper decklist to your opponent for them to review and they will do the same for you.
Basic lands are free in the Moxfield price calculator and do not count toward your $20 limit.
Pricing is based on the cheapest variant of each card, but feel free to use any version on the day.
1st Place: $400
2nd Place: $200
3rd-4th Place: $100
5th-8th Place: $50
Additional Prizes: Pity packs for those who don't make the top 8, plus door prizes throughout the day.
