Our next hike takes us to Mt. Satima ,Kenya's 3rd highest peak standing at approximately 4,001m ASL. The Mountain is the immediate neighbor to a number of sharp volcanic cones called “the Dragon’s Teeth”. Dragon’s Teeth is a sporadic spread of jagged rocks that rise above the consistently wet moorlands in Northern Aberdares.

The gentle 16 km trail will take us through a hiker’s paradise, trekking through fields of lush alpine vegetation, spotting a few wild animals, and walking past countless rows of magnificent craggy moraines, dubbed “Dragon’s Teeth”. The Dragon’s Teeth trail delivers some of the most breathtaking views of all hiking trails in Kenya.
