MSunderstood - MS.FIT!

Join me at the 10th street entrance. This is a fitness meet-up targeting those of us with Multiple Sclerosis. Some days we may not feel like we can. But the more we prioritize exercise, the more our body agrees that we can PUSH THROUGH! Together we will prioritize health, hold each other accountable, encourage each other, and get better physcially, emotionally, and mentally 1 movement at a time.

Exercise and fitness has always been a part of my life. When I was initially diagnosed- my left side was extremely slow. I watched people jogging past me, and would feel sad because that used to be me. As I've regained full mobility, I remind myself of how I felt when I wasnt able; so I continue to push myself with thankfulness.

Research shows that exercise not only benefits the body, but it benefits the brain and one's mood! These meet ups are only a small, but critical part of my vision to raise awareness for the MS community through exercise. Little by little, day by day, we will face MS together; one step at a time.
