About this Event
Who Can Participate
Children who have completed grades 1 -8 may enroll in this very unique Musical Theater experience. In one week, June 3-7 campers will produce the musical by Beat by Beat press, " Imagine a Dragon. "
This show is a super fun new musical, and has catchy songs and lots of parts such as princesses, heroes and guards. The whole musical takes place in an enchanted INN. Every participant will get a part and all will sing, dance, and act.

Bonus Field Trip
We will also travel to Beef and Boards on Wednesday, June 5th to eat a delicious buffet and watch the matinee of "Wizard of OZ." We will leave Clearwater at 10:30 a.m. by bus and arrive at Beef and Boards at 10:55. Campers will be picked up at Beef and Boards on that date at 3:30 by parents as we will meet the actors after the show. (Limited Chaperone tickets are available for $35.00 each. Chaperones will meet us at Beef and Boards at 11:00 a.m.
Instructors
Maribeth Smith, Clearwater Music Teacher will serve as Director and Choreographer and Joyce Click, retired NC Music Teacher will serve as Music Director. Talented High School students will serve as interns for the week. The camp will be limited to 43 students and is expected to fill-up quickly. Get your carpool togethers and all your friends and sign-up.
Where and When
Campers should be walked into Clearwater Elementary each day between 8:15 and 8:30a.m. and picked up at between 2:50 and 3:00 except for Wednesday when they will be picked up at Beef and Boards at 3:30 p.m.
What to Bring
Campers should bring a sack lunch each day except for Wednesday when we travel by MSDWT School Bus at 10:30 am and eat at Beef and Boards. Please bring a pre-packaged nut-free snack to share for 43 campers one time during the week and wear tennis shoes or shoes for dancing. Please let us know day one of any allergies of health conditions in writing the first day of camp. You will also need to fill -out the Summer Enrichment permission slip and bring it to camp. Performance for PARENTS and FAMILY (FREE)
Our free show will be presented at Clearwater on Friday, June 7 at 1:00 p.m.. The cost per camper is $175. 00 for the week and includes the Beef and Board trip and tickets, all scripts, use of costumes, and free tickets for families to attend the show. Limited spots for Chaperones are available for the Beef and Boards trip and the charge will be an additional $35.00 per parent. You may select this option as part of the ticket purchase.
