A Malawian-Australian singer-songwriter based in Adelaide/Tarntanya, Ms. Chipeta creates music that blends soulful melodies, heartfelt storytelling and honeyed vocals. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Cleo Sol and Ravyn Lenae, her music explores femininity, romance and vulnerability through a contemporary soul and R&B sound.
Her acclaimed single "Composure" received national attention, earning airplay on triple j's Soul Ctrl and Home & Hosed, while also being featured by The Note Magazine, CityMag, and local radio stations.
With a growing reputation for captivating live performances alongside her four-piece band, Ms. Chipeta has performed at WOMADelaide, been selected as a Music SA SCOUTED Artist, and shared stages with Donny Benet, Velvet Bloom, PEPTALK, and Erin Buku.
