Mrs Lowry & Son portrays the life of British painter L.S. Lowry, known for his paintings of urban landscapes. He lives with his bed-ridden mother, Elizabeth, who constantly tries to dissuade him from pursuing his artistic ambitions by voicing her disappointment.
The film being shown in June to coincide with the Lowry exhibition taking place in Berwick is Mrs Lowry & Son.
