For more than 126 years, Mrs. J.W. Jones Memorial Chapel has faithfully served generations of families throughout Kansas City, Kansas with dignity, compassion, and excellence. As one of the oldest Black owned funeral homes in the metropolitan area and a property listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Mrs. J.W. Jones Memorial Chapel has left an enduring impact on our community.
We are honored that this remarkable legacy will be recognized with an official proclamation celebrating its contributions to the families, neighborhoods, and history of Kansas City.
