Mr. Third Coast Leather is stepping into 2026 with a fresh vision, renewed energy, and an exciting new look!
For 2026, Misfits Houston has taken a fresh look at the Mr. Third Coast Leather Contest—from the contestant experience and judging process to the responsibilities and opportunities that come with wearing the title.
We've listened, we've learned, and we've taken the time to reimagine the contest with one goal in mind: to create an experience where contestants can bring their authentic selves, showcase what makes them unique, and have a meaningful opportunity to represent our incredible leather community.
The 2026 contest will feature updated judging criteria, clearer expectations, and a more transparent process so that every contestant knows what to expect and how they will be evaluated.
We're looking for someone who brings heart, personality, leadership, community spirit, authenticity, and a genuine passion for leather and the people who make up our community.
And while the competition is important, we believe the experience should be just as important. This is an opportunity to make new connections, challenge yourself, grow as a leader, have some fun, and become part of the continuing legacy of Mr. Third Coast Leather.
As part of our commitment to responsible leadership and community safety, all 2026 contestants will also be required to complete a criminal background check as part of the application process.
