What started as a one-man band, Mr. Floyd Larry has now developed into a full-fledged alternative rock project based in Miami, Florida. Floyd Larry lives in the space where hazy-eyed guitar riffs meet grungy, spectral garage — raw enough to feel alive, hazed enough to feel like a dream; blending melodic guitars, heavy basslines, and distinctive vocals.
Two tours. A body of work already in motion. What comes next is bigger. Floyd Larry is finishing new live-driven recordings, dropping an EP, and heading back out on the road — twice — before the year closes out. The best is still ahead.
Originally beginning as a producer in 2018, Floyd Larry’s love for bands shaped a project influenced by acts like DIIV, Beach Fossils, Gorillaz, and Cocteau Twins. The music explores themes of love, longing, and vulnerability with an intimate, immersive feel. Having toured twice alongside Palomino Blond and JMSN, and fresh off the release of Different Place and Time, Mr. Floyd Larry is now recording more live-driven material and preparing upcoming EP releases.
