Since it’s conception, about 14 years ago, Mr Cheapo records has always participated and involved in Record Store Day. This year is no exception. Not only are we celebrating our 42nd anniversary in business we will also be selling many of the limited edition records that will be released on record store day, 2023. As always all record store day items are first come first serve. Which means that when we open the doors and 945, the first people online will have the chance to get first pick at all the limited edition releases. We only allow one title per customer. After the initial line dies off, then you are entitled to buy multiple copies, and we even allow phone orders as well. So we really hope to make sure that all these limited-edition, rare releases are put into the hands of real fans and collectors. We don’t like to hear about people flipping them online for profit that goes against the whole point of record store day. If you have any questions about our inventory, you could definitely give us a call a few days prior to the event. Just to make it clear we will be to participating in record store day 2023 at both of our store locations in Commack and Mineola New York.
