On Friday 13th September we open our doors for a very special in-store party to celebrate of one of the finest reissue labels in the game, Be With Records.The breadth and quality that has gone into the Be With back catalogue is up there with the best. Label head Rob Butler has reissued a treasure trove of music over the past decade, from The Ahmad Jamal Trio, Ned Doheny and Leon Ware, to Pink Rhythm, Bobby Caldwell and KPM library releases.
For this final instore of the summer, Rob has brought together two of the Be With extended family to join him on the decks. Two seasoned diggers who were firm fixtures behind the counters of Manchester record shop institutions Vinyl Exchange and Piccadilly Records. The former helmed by the legendary Balearic Mike, who we recently featured as part of our Digging Deeper series, and the latter the masterful Danny Webb. Expect the unexpected, with three lifetime’s worth of deep musical knowledge to dig into, coupled with our very own Mr Bongo DJs - all set to make that Higo Beat Speaker system sing.
