MPSU Graduation Ball 2022

One of MPSU's most anticipated event for our grad students is happening soon!

We'd like to invite you to the Grad Ball for the Class of 2022 at Leonda by the Yarra.

Enjoy an unforgettable night with your friends and peers with dancing, food and drinks and a live DJ, celebrating your amazing years and time at Parkville. Take heaps of photos with your friends and take home memories and something to keep with our variety of photo booths. A 3 course meal is provided for each attendee, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided. As it is the graduation ball, all attendees will also receive a graduation bag to take home, curated by the organising team with Ph*rm*cy and PharmSci students in mind.

Whilst it is an event held for the graduating class of 2022 (Ph*rm*cy 4th Year, PharmSci Honours and PharmSci 3rd Year students), students of other year levels, universities and courses are more than welcome to attend!

Please note that due to venue requirements, you must have be fully vaccinated when in attendance to this event. Proof of vaccination will be required.

Only single tickets are available. Please designate a table representative among your friends, where you will list that person's name on the form (maximum of 10 people per table). We will try our best to put all your friends all on one table, but if you have less than 10 people, we may need to put you with another party or potentially place you on nearby tables. (In this case, we will try and contact you, please ensure your contact email is accurate!)

Tickets are non-refundable unless an uncontrollable situation (e.g: lockdown / gathering restrictions) prevents the event from occurring. Refunds are subjective to MPSU approval.

This event is 18+ ONLY due to the provision of alcoholic beverages onsite. Please bring a physical copy of a valid ID (driver's license, passport or proof of age card) which will be checked upon entry along with your ticket, otherwise you may be refused entry. A photo or scan of such ID is not acceptable.

You may also be refused entry if the venue deems you to be highly inebriated upon entry.

In order to maintain proper COVID-19 contact tracing, all tickets must have the correct name and contact information of the attendee using that ticket. Please ensure you update the details on your ticket before arriving at the venue. You may also be asked to scan a QR code at the venue upon entry for contact tracing purposes.

Formal dress code

We'd recommend working out how you're going to get home now, before you leave for the event.

Whilst there are free parking spaces available onsite, the venue has limited accessibility via trams/PTV (~10-15 minute walk), so we do recommend the utilisation of ride-hailing services (e.g: Uber) either to get you to the nearest train station, or to take you home safely. Please note, that some train lines do not run late night services, so please plan your journey home accordingly.
