About this Event
Research in public health and health promotion is important to enhance health and quality of life within our societies.
The students in MSc Public Health and Health Promotion have been engaged in drafting research proposals and intervention protocols based on various theories, methodologies, and planning frameworks.
The Brunel Public Health Society and the staff members of Global Public Health co-organise the first ever Brunel Public Health and Health Promotion Poster Conference. The aim of the series is to offer a platform to researchers, healthcare professionals, Brunel students, and members of the public to learn about interesting research ideas as well as public health intervention proposals. There will be various poster presentations during the event, with light snacks and drinks, and some surprises.
This event will take place in-person at Brunel University London, Uxbridge, UB8 3PH on Tuesday March 28th from 4pm to 6pm, in the Eastern Gateway (ESGW) Building Auditorium and Foyer. It is possible to drive or use public transport to get to the University. Here is some information on travel and parking: https://www.brunel.ac.uk/about/finding-us
This conference will also provide an opportunity for academics, clinicians, students, public, policy makers and colleagues from the charity sector to convene in order to discuss and develop potential collaborative projects. The conference will be facilitated by Dr Kei Long Cheung.
