<blockquote>About Our Theme: </blockquote><blockquote>Homecoming at Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs) celebrate the institution's history, alumni accomplishments, and student culture. Like many colleges, homecoming incorporates school spirit, reunions, and football. However, at an HBCU, there are additional activities unique to these historic institutions such as Greek-letter fraternity/sorority step shows, marching band competitions, day parties, parades, and more, all which serve to preserve Black history & culture. To learn more about HBCUs, visit this website or watch a preview of the PBS Documentary: "Tell Them We Are Rising: The Story of Black Colleges & Universities."</blockquote>
