Join the Minnesota Chorale as we sing Mozart's Requiem with YOU and the amazing pipe organ of Westminster Presbyterian Church with guest organist Joe Trucano masterfully behind all of the keys, pedals, pulls and stops. Westminster is a beautiful space to share some of the most haunting, powerful and transcendent music the young Mozart wrote before his passing at the age of 35. While Mozart was unable to finish his Requiem, we will lift our voices together, whether it be the Sussmeyer or Levin completion, any edition will do. Bring your own score or we will provide one for you.
The event is free to attend. A suggested donation of $20 per person is gratefully appreciated. No one will be turned away.
Parking info: parking is available on the street and at many ramps in the near vicinity. Westminster does offer parking in their ramp accessed from Alice Rainville place. Entrance to the parking structure is at 95-99 Alice Rainville Place between Nicollet Mall and Marquette Avenue. There will be a $12/car charge to park in their ramp. Parking is to be paid at the church reception desk upon entry.
