Florida Chamber Music Project Presents our November Concert featuring Franz Schubert and Antonin Dvorak
About this Event

“We are delighted to bring music to our friends at our new venue,” said Susan Pardue, Artistic Director of FCMP. “There will be new music combined with classical favorites.

We are extremely excited to announce our November concert featuring Franz Schubert’s Quartet in A minor for Strings, D. 804, Op. 29, No. 1, “Rosamunde”, and Antonin Dvorak String Quartet No. 12 in F major, Op. 96 "American”.

Rosamunde, A poignant and serene composition and the only chamber work to be published in his lifetime concludes with suggestions of a rustic peasant dance and elements of gypsy fiddling.

American, considered one of Dvorak’s most notable chamber pieces, was influenced by African Americana folk music. He states: “I should never have written these works 'just so' if I hadn't seen America
