MOW Sip & Sail: Portuguese Exploration

In honor of the upcoming Portugal Day, Matter Of Wine is hosting a special Sip & Sail in collaboration with Portuguese Wine Week. Portugal has a rich history of oversease exploration. Adventurers sailed the seas and stories of their journeys are still told today.

At Matter Of Wine's June Sip & Sail, we'll explore not only the waters of Marina Del Rey, but also a curated selection of Portuguese wines. Board a beautiful sailboat to enjoy a two-hour cruise around the harbor. A Sommelier, WSET 3 Certified, will kick off the sail with an hour-long hands-on wine tasting workshop, during which you learn how to see, smell, and taste four Portuguese wines. Afterwards, mix and mingle with new friends, munch on small bites, and continue to enjoy the variety of wines on board. Venture up to the roof or deck and take in the views of the sunset until we dock.

*Our catamaran may dock up to 10 minutes past the listed end time, depending on the wind.
