This workshop is a space for individuals who have experienced pregnancy loss, infant loss, or infertility to come together in community, reflection, and care. No artistic or dance background is needed.
Led by Megan L. Gargano and The Movement Project team, this gathering invites participants to engage in gentle, guided experiences rooted in self-care, reflection, and movement.
Together, we will hold space for the complexities of grief, through a guided movement experience, exploring ways of processing loss through the body and presence. Participants are welcome to engage in whatever way feels right, whether that means moving or simply being.
Gargano shares:
“After the loss of my daughter, Luna, I found myself searching for spaces where I could exist in my grief without needing to explain it. Spaces where I didn’t have to be anything other than where I was. This workshop is an offering of that kind of space, for those navigating loss to be held in community, and to know they are not alone.”
This workshop centers care, accessibility, and choice, offering a supportive environment for individuals and families navigating loss to gather, reflect, and move through, together.
*This is an inclusive space that honors all gender identities and expressions. Partners of those who have experienced pregnancy loss, infant loss, or infertility are welcome as well.
