About this Event
Moving the Logistics Market to High Speed Rail will bring colleagues from logistics and rail together to consider how the expansive rail network can play a more active part in the logistics supply chain in the UK – with the offer of reliable routes, competitive journey times, reduced air pollution, and unrivalled local hubs.
As we continue to recover from the mobility and economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the High Speed Rail Group believes that rail must be a central plank of meeting the UK’s net zero targets and the government’s ambition to build back better. This will require making the UK’s comprehensive railway network the backbone for an integrated, green and efficient distribution system.
