This three-day workshop meets on April 29, 30, and May 1 from 6:30-8:00 PM. This workshop culminates in a performance on Friday, May 2 at Constitution Hall. Call time is 3 PM, Dress Rehearsal is 4-6 PM, Performance is 7-9 PM.Join Exit12 Dance Company for a dynamic movement workshop series leading to a live performance at the Exit12 Gala Performance at Constitution Hall on Friday, May 2nd! Led by Artistic Director Roman Baca and Exit12 teaching artists, these workshops blend movement, writing, and theater to help you craft a powerful narrative through dance. Explore themes of identity, resilience, and life transitions through solo, partner, and group movement exercises. Each session starts with a light warm-up to get you moving and ready to create.
No dance experience? No problem! All you need is a willingness to explore and express. Modifications will be offered so everyone can participate fully. Come move, create, and share your story in a whole new way!
Our classes and workshops are free and open to anyone in the military community including service members, veterans, military family members, and caregivers.
