5Rhythms initiates us back into the wisdom of our bodies and unleashes the dynamic healing power of movement. This invites us to track memories and perceptions through gestures and shapes.

IFS offers a framework for understanding and healing by helping us facilitate a journey of self-discovery, compassion, and ultimately, liberation from the weight of the past.

Somatic IFS recognizes that the body holds memories, emotions, and experiences that can be accessed and processed through body awareness, movement, breathwork, and touch.

The workshop brings together the gifts of all three of these incredible healing modalities to support us to liberate ourselves from the deeply ingrained, often unconscious, beliefs, emotions, and patterns of behavior that are passed down through generations within a family or cultural lineage. These legacy burdens can manifest as limiting beliefs, emotional wounds, or dysfunctional relationship patterns that negatively impact our lives even if we haven't directly experienced the originating trauma.

This workshop offers a light and playful gateway into the wise and compassionate witness that lives within (in IFS called Self energy).

In the 5Rhythms we dance our way from inertia into movement, from chaos into stillness. We give shapes and expressions into the different aspects of ourselves and allow them to shape shift with practice and awareness. As we dance the wave, we get a lived experience of connection with this Self who lives in the still place within our moving center.

Within this workshops are concepts from the therapeutic principles of Internal Family Systems, explored through the 5Rhythms embodiment map. While these bodies of work are therapeutic in nature, this workshop is not "therapy".

Prerequisite: None. All workshop hours contribute to 5Rhythms® Teacher Training prerequisites.

Lucine Eusani (MA/Mphil Conflict Resolution) is a certified 5Rhythms teacher, an IFS therapist and an IFIO (IFS for couples) therapist based full time in Melbourne, Australia. She has over 20 years of working as a trauma-informed somatic facilitator, as well as in shamanic and psychedelic therapies. She is a mother and lifelong student of embodiment, nature based healing practices and Internal Family Systems.

Note from the Facilitator
As someone who experiences the world primarily through her somatic experience, she has a burning passion to bring the world of parts together with embodiment. The goal of this workshops are to introduce people to the concept of parts to beginning to track our parts in the body, and to the felt experience of unblending from our parts to have a lived experience of our core Self energy. (Please note that this workshop is NOT considered a training in IFS, not is it meant to be a substitute for IFS therapy, but rather an opportunity to experience IFS from the inside out).
