The Parkinson’s Foundation will host its annual Moving Day Milwaukee A Walk for Parkinson’s on Saturday May 21 2022 in Wauwatosa’s Hart Park at the Chestnut Street Picnic Area. Registration will open at 9:00 a.m. and the walk will begin at 10:00 a.m.
More than just a walk Moving Day Milwaukee is a celebration of movement and support for those living with Parkinson’s Disease (PD). The event will feature instructor-led exercises that have been shown to help manage PD symptoms resources for people with Parkinson's and care partners sponsors booths and a 2- mile walk.
There is no registration fee but participants are encouraged to make a personal donation and/or fundraise for the Parkinson Foundation. Since 2011 Moving Day events across the country have raised more than $35 million to improve care and advance research toward a cure.
