About this Event
As the high energy of the summer begins to subside, take some time to tune back into your intelligent body this September with a Moving Compositions workshop special!
This guided group workshop is designed for those curious about self-expression through movement, dance, and voice. Together, we'll explore a variety of exercises aimed at expanding our capacity for movement and accessing a state of flow that allows your unique voice to emerge. By integrating somatic art and creative writing activities, we'll uncover new ways to translate our embodied experiences into creative expression. Ultimately, you'll craft a unique keepsake collage to add to your personal archive, serving as a lasting reminder of your journey in this transformative exploration.
What to expect:
- Guided movement improvisation with a vibrant playlist to connect you to your moving body and replenish your vital energy levels!
- Moving with organic materials to practise embodied listening and responding!
- Vocal work to free your voice and let yourself be heard!
- Mark-making, somatic drawing and creative writing to archive your experience and create an original keepsake collage!
