"Movies on the Lawn has a 'small case of murder' on its hands this month! In our 6th feature film, we're traveling back to 1945 to follow the detective work of Dr. Ordway. You'll have to tune in to see what makes his expertise so valuable as he uses his skills to solve the classic whodunit in “The Crime Doctor's Courage.” Directed by George Sherman and starring Ray Collins, House Jameson, Brian Donlevy, Hugh Marlowe, Everett Sloane and John McIntire this mystery will have you at the edge of your lawn chair!Don’t forget to bring your own chair or blanket for a cozy viewing on a 20-foot screen under the stars. Join us for a unique opportunity to connect with Riverside's cinematic history! This FREE event takes place every third Friday of the month at Heritage House (8193 Magnolia Avenue, Riverside). Gates open on Friday, June 21st at sunset (8:00 p.m.) and screening begins at dusk (8:30 p.m.). Snacks are available for purchase (cash only). Street parking is available.
