Movies in the Canyon - Wind Wolves Preserve

EVENT DETAILS

Enjoy an evening under the stars at the Wind Wolves Preserve Sunset Theatre for a screening of Zootopia 2 (PG, 1 hour 48 minutes)! Family-friendly activity stations will run before the film at the Administrative Center (6:30 pm - 8:15 pm) with the movie starting at 8:30 pm.

This event is FREE; reservations are NOT required (however they are a good way to receive an event reminder and/ or any updates on cancellations). The movie will be projected outdoors against our large movie screen, so please dress accordingly.

• water & snacks/ food (we are a Leave No Trace Location, so please remember to take trash home)
• sun protection (hats/ sunglasses/ sunscreen) - if arriving for pre-movie activities
• Camping/ lawn chair (limited seating/ picnic tables available)
• Picnic blanket
• Flashlight (for walking back to your car at the end of the movie)

ABOUT US

Wind Wolves Preserve is a 93,000-acre nature preserve located approximately 30 miles south of Bakersfield, and is owned and operated by The Wildlands Conservancy (TWC). The preserve is open to the public daily and visitors can enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, camping, or attend a staff led program, all free of charge.

TWC is a private, non-profit organization that operates 24 preserves along the west coast. Our mission is "To preserve the beauty and biodiversity of the earth and to provide programs so that children may know the wonder and joy of nature."
