MOVIES IN MARANA - Surf's Up (at the Marana Pool)

Movies In Marana is a popular program from the past making its highly-anticipated return in 2023. Proudly presented by Marana Parks & Recreation the movie nights will run from 6-9PM* and move around our parks. The movies themselves will start at SUNDOWN. They even will feature different locations in our parks like at the Marana Pool and Marana Splash Pads.

*The June & July events will be 6:30-9:30PM due to sundown being later

MOVIE DESCRIPTION: Surfing means everything to teenage penguin Cody Maverick. Followed by a documentary film crew he leaves his home in Antarctica for Pen Gu Island site of the Big Z Memorial Surf Off. Cody wants to be respected and admired and he believes that winning the competition will bring him what he craves. However an encounter with washed-up surfer Geek teaches Cody about what is truly important.
