Movies at the Mercer| Pee-Wee's Big Adventure (1985) FREE OUTDOOR SCREENING

Join us each month from June - August on the green of the Mercer Museum for a family-friendly series of FREE outdoor film screenings! This annual series will end with one of the silliest films from the 1980s, Paul Reubens' PEE WEE'S BIG ADVENTURE! Tickets are available now at countytheater.org/outdoor

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗲: Pee-wee Herman is an eccentric man-child who discovers that his precious bicycle has been stolen. Forced to hit the road to get it back, Pee-wee soons finds himself on a cross-country journey filled with plenty of danger and hijinks. Tim Burton's directorial debut is surreal, endearing, and laugh-out-loud funny. PEE-WEE'S BIG ADVENTURE features the late Paul Reubens as the titular character, whose iconic performance inspired generations of kids.
𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪
• Gates open at 7:15 pm and the movie will begin at dusk (around 8:15 pm).
• Attendance is FREE, but we encourage you to register ahead of time so our staff is prepared to know the number of people who will be enjoying a screening on the green.
• County Theater and Mercer Museum staff will be on hand to assist or answer any questions.
• A limited number of popcorn boxes ($5 each) will be available to purchase at the screening by credit card purchase ONLY.
• Please Bring Your Own Chair or Blanket as seating will not be provided.
• Limited parking is available in the museum lot, but walking and biking are encouraged.
• There are open bathrooms located within the Mercer Museum lobby. • Please ask either Mercer Museum or County staff for help in case you have trouble finding it.
• Keep in mind that a can of bug repellent comes in handy while watching an outdoor movie.
• In the event of inclement weather (such as rain or high winds) we'll be moving our outdoor screening of PEE-WEE’S BIG ADVENTURE to Tuesday, August 25.
