Movies at the Fort

Midtown Association is proud to announce the new season of Movies at the Fort that will take place at the exterior grounds of Sutter's Fort State Historic Park on June 12th, July 10th, and August 14th. These fun, free, socially distanced open air movies are presented by the Sutter District restaurants and Sutter Health and in partnership with California State Parks and Friends of Sutter's Fort. Guests are invited to arrive at 7 p.m. and the family friendly films will start at approximately 8:45 p.m. The films will be played on the historic walls on the west side of Sutter's Fort (corner of 26th & L Streets.)

The film line-up is June 12th- Captain Marvel, July 10th - Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, August 14th - Up

The community is invited to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and outside food and/or drinks. Alcohol will be available for purchase inside the event footprint. There will be physically distanced circles on the grass that will fit up to five members of the same household. We ask that you select only one ticket per household and present this ticket at check-in for entry. Please have all members of your household present at check in, and if you must leave, we cannot accommodate re-entry. Due to Sacramento County being in the Red Tier in the State of California Guide to Reopening, masks are required unless eating or drinking. Hand sanitizer will be available on site.
