This month we are discussing the film: Planes, Trains & Automobiles. The film follows a Chicago advertising man who must struggle to travel home from New York for Thanksgiving, with a lovable oaf of a shower-curtain-ring salesman as his only companion. Starring Steve Martin and John Candy, Planes, Trains & Automobiles was written, produced, and directed by the late John Hughes and is now considered to be a heartfelt comedy classic.
