Tampa Theatre’s On The Road summer series is headed to Bonnet Springs Park in Lakeland with Choose Your Own Adventure, a FREE outdoor screening that celebrates some of the most iconic adventure films of the 1980s.
Pre-film events – including photo ops and a costume contest – begin at 8PM, with the film starting at sunset. Admission is FREE and open to the public, and guests are encouraged to bring picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs.
A farm boy-turned-pirate, a determined princess, a vengeful swordsman and a lovable giant embark on a swashbuckling quest filled with romance, revenge… and some kissing. Initially a flop upon its release (“Inconceivable!”) this storybook adventure has charmed successive generations of fans ever since.
