Join us on Bannerman Island, as we present "Ever After" (1998), with an intro from Cory Crose! Cory is a local artist whose work is inspired by fairy tales, folklore and developing one's personal mythos through visual storytelling. She will be joining us to share a brief history of fairy tales, their importance to communities and culture, and how they change over time.
This event includes a cruise to and from the Island departing from the Hudson River waterfront in Beacon, New York, a mini-tour of the Island or lecture, entry to the Bannerman family residence and the film screening.
Candy, popcorn and refreshments will be available for purchase.
Many of our film screenings on the Island sell out. If you're interested in attending, please be sure to reserve your tickets ahead of time.
Both departure times at 6pm and 7pm are for the same showing of the film on the Island. The feature begins after sundown on the Island. Arrival back at the dock in Beacon is approximately 4 hours after your original departure time.
