About this Event

A young and parentless girl adopts a 'dog' from the local pound, completely unaware that it's supposedly a dangerous scientific experiment that's taken refuge on Earth and is now hiding from its creator and those who see it as a menace.

The screening will be preceded by an ‘Auana hula performance by Pua Aliʻi ʻIlima o Nūioka, the New York City extension of Pua Aliʻi ʻIlima, the hālau hula (school of traditional Hawaiian dance) founded by Kumu Hula Vicky Holt Takamine in 1977. The performance will feature live music by Claudia Kanile‘a Goddard.

Bring your ohana for an evening of music, aloha, and movie magic.
