“IMAGINE”... never having heard of the BEATLES or any of their songs?!It's a crazy idea... right?

But Jack Malik is a struggling singer-songwriter from Lowestoft who plays gigs to tiny crowds. His manager and childhood friend Ellie Appleton encourages him not to give up on his dreams. During a twelve-second global power outage, Jack is hit by a bus. After recovering, he sings the Beatles song "Yesterday" for his friends. However, he discovers that they have never heard of the Beatles, and that he is now in an alternative reality where the band never formed. Jack begins performing Beatles songs, passing them off as his own.

This is when stuff gets interesting!
