Midlands Fretted Orchestra (MFO), is delighted to present its summer concert, Movie Music and Telly Tunes, a lively celebration of iconic themes from the big and small screen!.
The performance will take place on Saturday 4th July 2026 at 3pm, at St Peter’s Parish Centre in Pedmore, Stourbridge and forms of the group’s 25th birthday celebrations.
Audiences can expect a vibrant programme featuring beloved melodies from classic cinema, modern blockbusters, and unforgettable television favourites — all performed by one of the region’s most distinctive and dynamic ensembles.
With its unique blend of mandolins, banjos, guitars, mandolas, ukulele, rhythm and bass guitars, the MFO brings a fresh and colourful sound to well‑known screen music, making this an afternoon of entertainment suitable for all ages.
MFO is dedicated to showcasing the expressive range of fretted instruments through an eclectic repertoire spanning classical, contemporary, folk, blues, ragtime and popular music. Their concerts are known for a friendly welcome, accessibility, and a warm community spirit.
