A MOTHER IS BORN is a 2013 University of Alberta documentary exploring the role of midwives in normal labour and delivery.
Snacks will be available before the screening.
Following the film, a panel of birth care providers, including filmmaker Dr. Bailey Adams, will discuss changes since 2013 and the ongoing work needed to ensure safe, positive, and empowering birth experiences for Alberta families and communities.
