Join us this March as Movie Loft serves up some choice USDA 'Prime Cut' at Shadowbox Studio! From 1972, the second feature from director Michael Ritchie ('Smile', 'Fletch', etc. ) is a Midwestern action thriller drama gem with plenty of sordidness to spare. "The gangster film that's a cut above"!
Gene Hackman co-stars as Mary Ann, a Kansas City rancher that has run afoul of the Chicago mob, who sends the enforcer Nick Devlin (Lee Marvin) to collect what is theirs. Sissy Spacek is also caught amidst the offal and unseemliness in her very first role, as Poppy.
