Movie Loft ruptures into the wild New Year at Shadowbox Studio this January with a screening of 'Love Is the Devil: Study for a Portrait of Francis Bacon'. From director John Maybury comes this 1998 bio-drama about the turbulent relationship between Bacon (Sir Derek Jacobi) and his lover George Dyer (Daniel Craig). A garish, stylish and surreal swirl into the sex, drugs and art maelstrom of their lives in the '60s. Also featuring Tilda Swinton, Anne Lambton, Adrian Scarborough and a score by Ryuichi Sakamoto!
