We are teaming up with Six Bomb Boards for a movie and live art series! On the second Thursday of every month, we will screen a movie in our taproom and the team of artists from Six Bomb Boards will do live drawings related to the movie playing during the event! All of the art will be available for purchase at the end of the night. To accommodate schedules, the first event will be next Tuesday, February 13th and we will be screening The Matrix!Six Bomb Boards was started in the early 2010s in Lexington, Kentucky by illustrator/comic book artist Justin 3000 Stewart. Stewart's idea for Six Bomb Boards was to create an event that brings artists together as most artists work alone at their house or small studio. He also wanted to create an event where the general public could interact with art and artists outside of galleries and museums which can be stuffy and intimidating. Six Bomb Boards is open to all and anyone is welcome to pick up a marker, a sheet of paper, and draw alongside the artists.
