Join us for our 9th annual Movie in the Cemetery fundraiser at the historic Redford Cemetery.

• Individual Tickets: $18
• Double Feature Tickets: $30, includes admission to both shows on Oct 4. Limited to 60 tickets.
• VIP Package: $150, includes 4 tickets to one show with reserved firepit seating, early admission, s'mores kits & special gift. Limited to 10 packages per showing.

***Tickets are available at the gate, but you'll still have to purchase your ticket online. No cash payments will be accepted***

MOVIE DETAILS

October 4, 7:30pm: Casper (1995), rated PG, 1 hr 40 minOctober 4, 10:30pm: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974), rated R, 1 hr 23 minFor the early show, our resident grave digger will be opening the gate at 6:15pm for VIP ticket holders, 6:30pm for general admission. For the late show, gates open at 9:30pm for VIP ticket holders, and 9:45pm for general admission. This is the only time this historic gate is opened. It originally served as the main entrance to the cemetery for the horse drawn hearse.After entering the cemetery on foot, you'll make your way down the candlelit path to check in, and then proceed to the viewing area. Here, you'll set up your seating, grab some snacks from one of the food vendors, shop at the vendor booths, and check out the hearses on display from "Just Hearse'N Around".

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

• Proceeds go to preserving our historic cemetery, established in 1831.
• Seating is not allowed within 25 feet of any headstone. No exceptions.
• Absolutely no drugs or alcohol allowed on the property.
• In order to continue this event without raising ticket prices, we've had to reserve a smaller screen. We know our guests like to spread out. Just keep in mind that it'll be a little cozier this year.

WHAT TO BRING

• Canopy tents are allowed along the exterior of the viewing area, as space permits on a first come first served basis
• Lawn chair (recommended) and blanket
• Warm clothing
• Flashlight
• Cash (50/50 tickets, vendors, & concessions available for purchase)
• Bug spray
• Your mobile or printed ticket

LOCATION

Redford Cemetery is located on the east side of Telegraph, between 5 Mile & 6 Mile, in Redford Twp. There is no legal physical address, but Google Maps has us at 23801 Puritan, Detroit. The cemetery is between Royal Cabinet (15730 Telegraph, Redford) to the south and The Collision Shop (16160 Telegraph, Detroit) to the north.

PARKING

Due to space limitations, only individuals with handicapped placards can park in the cemetery. If you have a handicapped placard, please notify one of the parking attendants when you get there. For all others, street parking is available AT YOUR OWN RISK, just look for our volunteers in yellow vests to guide you. Parking is very limited. Please do your best to carpool and expect to walk at least 1 block to the cemetery gate.

REFUNDS

Refunds given due to event cancellation only. Tickets cannot be exchanged for a different showing. Disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated and will result in removal from the event without a refund.

Is handicapped parking available? Yes! Just show your placard to the parking volunteers. They will direct you into the cemetery.

Are restrooms available? Yes, porta potties will be on site

Is there a rain date? We do not have a rain date set up for this event since that would require us to pay for the screen rental for another day.
